Kait Lee Feldmann has been romping around as a children’s book editor for the past decade, specializing in picture books and graphic novels. Her list includes award-winning books that have received a Caldecott, Coretta Scott King, and Sibert Honor; the Ezra Jack Keats Award; and appearances on Best of lists for The New York Times, NPR, Kirkus, and more. She worked most recently as Senior Editor at HarperCollins, was previously an editor at Scholastic, and claims to have been a bookseller at Vroman’s Bookstore (but technically was employed to sell pens). In 2020 she received the CBC Diversity Outstanding Achievement Award. Kait resides in a hoarder’s paradise in Los Angeles, surrounded by books. When she’s not reading those, she can often be found crafting and selling jewelry and various other goods at her sporadically stocked Etsy shop.
